Chapters of “Connexió Clínic”, a docu-series in which fellow professionals at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona show, in tandem, the hospital through their own eyes and words.
In this first chapter we follow the steps of Anna, a researcher in charge of analysing blood cells in her laboratory, and Joan Carles, a health assistant in charge of walking the hospital corridors every day to transport and move patients. Both will have to put themselves in each other’s shoes to empathise and learn some of the tasks in their environment.
In this second chapter we follow the steps of Rafel, a cook at the Clínic whose maxim is to take care of patients through diets, many of them special and specific; and Arturo, a pulmonologist and emergency physician “by choice and by adoption”, who attends to multiple cases in the emergency department every day, many of them critically ill patients. Both will have to put themselves in each other’s shoes and learn first-hand how people work and live in other departments of the hospital.
