SYNOPSIS
At the age of 13, Ariana Benedé was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. With her mother and a team of professionals at the Clínic-IDIBAPS, she began a race against time to carry out the first clinical trials of CAR-T therapy, a treatment that modifies the immune system’s cells to effectively fight cancerous cells.
